How to do a shoulder stretch for seniors?

Here's how to do a shoulder stretch for seniors:

1. Sit or stand with your back straight and your arms at your sides.

2. Lift your arms to shoulder height, and then bring them behind you.

3. Clasp your hands together behind your back, with your palms facing inwards.

4. Gently pull your arms back as far as you can, feeling a stretch in your shoulders and chest.

5. Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds, breathing deeply.

6. Release the stretch and bring your arms back to your sides.

7. Repeat the stretch 2-3 times.

It's important to perform the shoulder stretch slowly and gently, without bouncing or jerking. Seniors should stop the stretch immediately if they feel any pain or discomfort. If the stretch is too difficult to perform with clasped hands, seniors can hold onto a towel or resistance band instead.
